About us

Kempf GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Walldorf, Baden, in 2012 by brothers Bernd and Udo Kempf. From the outset, the company took over the measurement technology division of LOKE Engineering GmbH & Co. KG.

Today, Kempf operates three successful business divisions, each a leader in its respective field:

Large-area LED lighting

Kempf GmbH & Co. KG is the exclusive distribution partner for AAA-LUX, the Dutch market leader in large-area LED lighting. We plan and install lighting systems for sports facilities, industrial sites and other large areas.

Laser measurement technology and sports services

Our high-performance laser systems are used for sports science applications. Many Olympic training centres rely on Kempf/Jenoptik laser technology to measure acceleration and speed.

Industrial laser measurement technology

We are a market leader in laser-based measurements on extremely hot surfaces, including molten steel.

We have maintained a close partnership with Jenoptik since the company was founded and therefore also operate our own branch in Jena.
