Kempf GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2012 by brothers Bernd and Udo Kempf in Walldorf, Baden, Germany. From the very beginning, the company took over the measurement technology division of LOKE Engineering GmbH & Co. KG and has continuously developed this expertise ever since.

Today, Kempf operates successfully in three specialised business areas, combining many years of experience with technical expertise and practical, application-oriented solutions.

LED Large-Area Lighting

Kempf LED has been an established specialist in professional LED large-area lighting for many years. We design, supply, and install high-performance lighting solutions for sports facilities, industrial areas, and other large-scale applications.

From professional lighting design and the selection of suitable luminaires and control systems through to installation, our customers receive a complete solution tailored precisely to the requirements of each individual project.

Laser Measurement Technology for Sports and Sports Science

In the field of sports science, Kempf provides highly precise laser measurement systems for the non-contact measurement of speed, acceleration, and movement.

The laser technology used in cooperation with Jenoptik is employed by numerous Olympic training centres and sports science institutions and has proven itself over many years in professional and elite sports.

Laser Measurement Technology for Industrial Applications

Kempf also has extensive expertise in industrial laser measurement technology for particularly demanding measurement applications.

One of our key areas of expertise is the non-contact measurement of speed and movement on extremely hot surfaces, including applications involving molten steel. Our measurement systems provide precise and reliable results even under the most demanding industrial conditions.
