LED lighting for indoor sports facilities

Sports halls come in all shapes and sizes, and the lighting requirements for each hall are therefore unique. Just as with outdoor areas, care must be taken with indoor sports facilities to ensure that the requirements of the various sports are met while planning the lighting system in accordance with the structural conditions.

To meet these challenges, we have worked with our partners to develop a range of luminaires that fulfill the requirements mentioned above.

In addition to high uniformity and color rendering, all spotlights are dimmable. This allows for adaptive dimming of the lights—for example, using a daylight sensor—to match the light entering the hall from outside.

This results in additional energy savings on top of the general energy savings provided by LED lights. Thanks to potential subsidies available for converting to LED technology and the resulting cost savings, LED warehouse lighting often pays for itself in less than two years.
