LED floodlighting for SG Viktoria Mauer’s new winter training pitch
The new LED floodlighting system in Mauer was switched on just in time for the local Kerwe festival. Mauer is also known as the home of Homo heidelbergensis. More than 600,000 years after the first humans lived in the area, its first LED floodlighting system has now been installed.
On Kerwe Tuesday, eight old metal-halide lamps, some of which contained mercury, were replaced with six of our dimmable AAA-LUX LED floodlights at SG Viktoria Mauer’s new winter training pitch. The new system enables energy and CO₂ savings of more than 70%.
