AAA-LUX LED floodlighting now also at TSV Uhlbach in Stuttgart

The installation at TSV Uhlbach in Stuttgart covered the artificial-turf pitch, the adjacent small-sided pitch and the tennis court.

Due to the site’s elevated position among the vineyards, the previous floodlighting system was visible from a considerable distance. By fitting targeted light shields to selected LED modules, the new LED floodlights are now almost invisible from afar. Despite this, the artificial-turf pitch benefits from excellent uniformity and approximately twice the previous light level.

Despite the relatively large distance between the masts and the small-sided pitch, the targeted use of different LED floodlight configurations achieved virtually the same level of uniformity.

On the tennis court, four metal-halide floodlights were replaced with just two LED floodlights, while still achieving a higher lighting class.
